Educational background: I’ve been an educator for 14 years. I have a Bachelor’s in Arts (Child and Family Development with Birth through Kindergarten license), As well as a Masters in Arts-Teaching from UNC Charlotte.
I am passionate about teaching and am a natural affirmer. I consistently affirm my 3 children and students as I’ve noticed that when I pour positivity into my students, it helps build relationships and confidence for them to succeed and become their best selves. I am a firm believer that repeating affirmations make your subconscious mind work, by solidifying statements into reality.

I Am! I Can! I Will!
The creation of “I am! I can! And I will!” book was formed from affirming my 3 children. I wrote this book so that they will have something to refer to when affirming themselves each day. “I am! I can! And I will!” book gives young children reminders of all the things they can achieve by giving themselves positive affirmations. Parents often affirm their children, but children should learn to encourage and affirm themselves, especially living in a world where systemic and racial injustice exists. Read this book daily to gain valuable, positive, and powerful affirmations, because if you speak it, you will believe it, and if you believe it, you can achieve it.
